lyrics
Memories slipping away from these sleeping trees
Vast ruins sing from wrecked voyages past
Calling unto me to uncover this great mystery
A mystery of life
A mystery of life
Clearing the strife
Eyes foggy with ignorance
Only bliss, can undo this deliverance
Moon of disillusion
Mystical manipulation
End your natural fear
End your natural fear
Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
