lyrics
A symbol of wisdom pointing north
A symbol of courage pointing east
A symbol of love pointing south
A symbol of innocence pointing west
With all these items
This spell can be initiated
Never before successful
Never before this present time
You will bear witness to history in the making
Altering the departed
Wisdom, constructed by the dark one’s misery
Courage, stolen from the heroic prince
Love, ripped from the forlorn queen
Innocence, stolen from heroic creators
Placed upon the compass’ ends
North, east, south and west
The spell can be enacted
For the first time in known history
Forging a new fate
The caster’s ashes rise
Giving life to the spell of time travel
Enacting the impossible
Changing her past, forever

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan

Abigail Williams has had a weird career with hiatuses and lineup changes, but they have finally perfected their sound on Walk Beyond the Dark. This album has such a refreshing and natural feeling that makes it one of the top atmospheric black metal albums of recent years. Ryan

I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228

This album being played over the PA system at the museum where Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory" is housed is what caused the faces of the clocks in the painting to melt. meeko
