lyrics
No one can proceed me
I am the only one
No one can take my throne
For there is no one left
To take this Cathedra
The chamber, filled with their blood
Exquisite, untarnished by the land
Their sacrifice, my sustenance
And no one left to oppose me
The gates clamoring, is whomever aspires to take my place
Their mortality can't threaten my eternal existence
For those dreadful ones are nothing more than worthless beings to consume
This thunder I can stop
For I have the quintessence I demand
Whomever you may be, you shall be no more
Bend your knee
The chamber, filled with their blood
Exquisite, untarnished by the land
Their sacrifice, my sustenance
And no one left to oppose me
I will settle this hostility
This is the last moon you will gaze upon
Bellows behind me
This curse will live on
Irrational thinking,
Naïve disciples
Decrepit illusions,
The scroll of augury
Eons of design have led us to this
A new ruler will be hailed
A new ideology forged
Novum princeps
Novus ordo
Novus imperium
Ruunt praeteritum
A new ruler
Kneel before your queen
A new order
Kneel before your queen
A new empire
Bend thy knee
A past in ruin
Bend Thy...
Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
